Patrick Marsceill is a software designer. Youʼve found his home on the internet.

About me

Always curious, forever tinkering, and ready to build. My working style is hands-on and I enjoy writing code as much as untangling problems, designing interfaces, and collaborating with others. Inevitably one of these things leads to another.

I am currently working on autonomous developer tools at Magic.dev, previously leading design at WorkOS, and designing and building GitHub.

About this site

My earliest post here was in 2012, so you could say that is the year that I established this site. Back then though, it was under my own namesake, patrickmarsceill.com (which now redirects over here). I wrote a post with some context as to the name change and more about what I’m trying to do here.

Body copy is set in Freight Text Pro, designed by Joshua Darden for Adobe. Headings are set in Neue Haas Grotesk. Code is set in JetBrains Mono, designed by Philipp Nurullin and Konstantin Bulenkov for JetBrains.
